1. Who We Are and What This Covers
"Cortex Labs," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the independent education and coaching business operating at livecortex.com. This policy covers the website, associated customer accounts, online courses and digital resources, consultation and coaching services, and the private TRT Command Center.
Cortex Labs provides independent coaching and educational services. The private coaching portal is not an emergency service, and this privacy policy does not replace any applicable service terms or professional medical advice.
2. Information We Collect
- Identity and contact information: name, username, email address, billing or contact details, and information you submit through website forms.
- Purchases and service information: products or services ordered, transaction records, account status, program start dates, and customer-service communications.
- Coaching and sensitive health-related information: information you voluntarily provide about testosterone or other medication protocols, doses, frequencies, laboratory results, symptoms, libido, erections, sexual sensation, climax, and related goals or observations.
- Command Center activity: coaching protocols and version history, feedback questionnaires, scheduled check-ins, messages exchanged with Ryan, timestamps, and whether submissions have been reviewed.
- Website and technical information: IP address, device/browser information, login and security activity, cookie identifiers, website usage data, and similar technical records collected by our website and service providers.
- Email and marketing preferences: newsletter subscriptions, opt-in status, campaign engagement, and unsubscribe requests where applicable.
Please provide only information reasonably relevant to the services you request. Do not put passwords, full payment-card numbers, or other unnecessary secrets in coaching messages.
3. Where Information Comes From
We collect information directly when you create an account, complete a purchase, submit a form, schedule a consultation, send a message, or complete a coaching check-in.
We also receive transaction and delivery information from payment, commerce, email and hosting providers, and technical records generated when you use the website.
If you voluntarily send us documents or laboratory results, we may use them in delivering your requested services.
4. How We Use Information
- Provide purchased courses, consultations, coaching and private portal access.
- Document coaching protocols, review check-ins, respond to questions and maintain continuity between sessions.
- Send account, purchase, support and scheduling notices, including check-in reminders and replies.
- Process payments, maintain accounting records, handle refunds and manage customer support.
- Operate, maintain and secure our systems; prevent fraud and investigate technical problems.
- Understand general website performance and improve our products and services.
- Send promotional messages where permitted and according to your communication choices.
- Meet applicable legal requirements and respond to lawful requests.
5. Private Coaching and Health-Related Information
Private by design: TRT Command Center records are intended for the assigned client and authorized Cortex Labs personnel delivering the coaching service. Other clients should not be able to view your private records.
Client questionnaires, medication-related notes and private messages are used to provide the requested coaching experience.
We do not intentionally publish your private submissions, use them for public testimonials, or use their contents for behavioral advertising without appropriate separate permission.
Automated reminder emails are designed to direct you to the private portal instead of including detailed sexual-function responses or medication information.
Please be aware that ordinary email is not a secure place to send sensitive documents or detailed health information.
Depending on where a client resides, special consumer health-data rights or consent requirements may apply. We will honor those requirements where applicable.
7. Marketing Emails, Cookies and Analytics
If you subscribe to Cortex Labs emails or otherwise receive permissible marketing messages, you can unsubscribe using the link provided in those messages.
Unsubscribing from promotional email does not necessarily stop essential account, purchase, security or coaching-service notices.
Our site and its service providers may use cookies or similar technologies for login sessions, shopping carts, checkout, security, site functionality, analytics and, where configured, marketing.
Browser settings may let you block or delete cookies, but doing so may affect account access or checkout. Some third-party services linked from this website maintain their own privacy notices.
8. How We Protect Information
We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to restrict access to coaching records, including account authentication, role-based access controls, HTTPS connections, security maintenance, and backup procedures.
Access to private information is limited to authorized purposes.
No online service can promise absolute security. If we discover a security incident involving personal information, we will assess the incident and provide notices required by applicable law.
9. How Long We Keep Information
We keep account, transaction, communication and coaching records only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide requested services, manage the business, resolve disputes, maintain security, and satisfy applicable legal obligations.
Different information categories may have different retention periods.
When information is no longer necessary, we will delete or de-identify it where reasonably feasible, subject to legal requirements and ordinary backup-retention cycles.
Requests for deletion can be submitted using the contact information below.
10. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to or a copy of certain personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, or information about how your data is used or shared.
You may also withdraw consent for future optional processing where consent is the applicable basis. Some requests may be limited by legal recordkeeping, security, and other recognized exceptions.
Send privacy-related requests to ryan@livecortex.com with the subject "Privacy Request."
We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. We will respond as required under applicable law and will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.
If you are covered by a jurisdiction-specific consumer privacy or health-data law, additional access, deletion, consent, appeal or complaint rights may apply.
11. Children's Privacy
Our coaching services and sensitive-data portal are intended for adults.
We do not knowingly solicit private coaching records from children. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information inappropriately, contact us so we can evaluate and address the request.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may revise this policy as our services, technology or legal requirements change.
We will publish the revised policy on this page and update the effective date. Where the law requires additional notice or consent for a material change, we will provide it.
